Terms of Service

Discover Taiji - Terms of Service

Internal Arts International

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the subscription-based video course platform at discovertaiji.com (the "Platform"), operated by Discover Taiji LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or accessing any content, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms are written in English. In the event of any conflict between an English version and a translation, the English version controls.

1. Eligibility & Minors

The Platform is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. By subscribing or creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

The Platform is not directed at, designed for, or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. If we discover or reasonably suspect that an account belongs to a minor, we reserve the right to immediately terminate that account. Depending on the circumstances, a pro-rated refund may be issued for the unused portion of any paid billing period.

Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring and controlling any minors in their household who may attempt to access the Platform.

2. Account Terms

To access the Platform, you must register and maintain an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account with any other person under any circumstances.
  • Notify us immediately at info@heavenmanearth.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are found to be fraudulent, or are used in a manner inconsistent with the intended single-user access of a subscription.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

3.1 Subscription Plans

Access to course content requires an active subscription. Subscription plans and billing cycles are described on our pricing page. All prices are displayed in US dollars (USD).

3.2 Free Trial

All new subscribers receive their first month at no charge. This free month is your opportunity to explore the content and determine if the Platform is right for you. After the free month, your paid subscription begins automatically.

3.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan. We do not store your full payment card details; these are handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Stripe supports payments from most countries where its services are available. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method is valid and accepted in your jurisdiction. We do not serve users located in countries subject to US government sanctions. By subscribing, you confirm you are not located in, or acting on behalf of any person or entity in, any such sanctioned jurisdiction.

3.4 Taxes & Local Charges

All subscription fees are exclusive of any taxes, levies, duties, or similar charges imposed by your local jurisdiction, including but not limited to VAT, GST, or sales tax. You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes applicable to your subscription in your country of residence. We are not responsible for calculating, collecting, or remitting taxes on your behalf unless required to do so by applicable law.

3.5 Recurring Billing & Cancellation

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to content until that date.

IMPORTANT: It is your sole responsibility to cancel before the next billing date. Once subscribed to a recurring plan — whether monthly or yearly — you will be automatically charged at the start of each new billing cycle without further notice. This is especially important for yearly subscribers: a full year may pass between charges, and it is easy to forget that a renewal is approaching. We strongly recommend noting your renewal date at the time of purchase.

If you forget to cancel before a renewal charge is processed and contact us requesting a refund, we will issue a 50% refund of that renewal charge as a one-time courtesy. This partial refund applies to renewal charges only, not to the initial subscription purchase, and may be exercised only once per account.

3.6 Price Changes

Subscription pricing is subject to change at any time without notice. Any price changes apply to new subscriptions only. Existing subscribers will continue to be billed at the rate they originally subscribed to unless their subscription is canceled and restarted, at which point the then-current pricing will apply.

3.7 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may attempt to re-charge your payment method and/or suspend your account until payment is resolved. You are responsible for keeping your billing information up to date.

4. Refund Policy

Because a full free month is provided to all new subscribers, we do not offer refunds on subscription charges except as described in Section 3.5 (the 50% renewal courtesy refund) and Section 11.3 (pro-rated refund upon termination by us without cause).

To request a refund where applicable, email us at info@heavenmanearth.com with your account email and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, we ask that you contact us at info@heavenmanearth.com before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer. By agreeing to these Terms, you commit to contacting us first and allowing us at least 14 days to resolve the issue before initiating any payment dispute.

We actively respond to and contest chargebacks. Filing a chargeback for a charge that is valid under these Terms — including renewal charges you forgot to cancel before — constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent termination of your account without refund, as well as being reported to Stripe and relevant payment networks.

This section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Content Access

6.1 Continued Access to Paid Content

Once you have subscribed and paid for a billing period, you retain personal access to the video content available during that period even after your subscription ends, unless your account is terminated under Section 11. This access is personal and non-transferable.

6.2 License to Access Content

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream and view course content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use. No other rights are granted.

6.3 Content Availability

We may update, modify, replace, or remove course content at any time without notice. We are not liable for the removal or modification of any content.

6.4 Export Compliance

The content available on the Platform is subject to United States export control laws and regulations. By accessing the Platform, you represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country to which the United States has embargoed goods or services, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

7. Prohibited Uses & Content Protection

We take the protection of our content extremely seriously. By accessing the Platform, you agree that you will NOT:

  • Download, record, screen-capture, or otherwise reproduce any video, audio, or written course materials in any form.
  • Share, distribute, upload, or transmit our content to any other person or platform, whether for free or for payment.
  • Sell, resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to our content or your account credentials.
  • Share your account login with any other person for any reason.
  • Use our content to train, develop, or improve any artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automated system.
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass any technical protection measures on the Platform.

Violations of these prohibitions are grounds for immediate account termination without refund and may expose you to legal liability for copyright infringement and other claims. We actively monitor for unauthorized distribution of our content.

8. Teaching Rights

The right to teach, instruct, coach, or otherwise present or facilitate instruction using our material, methods, curriculum, or any derivative thereof is expressly excluded from your subscription and is not granted by these Terms.

No subscriber may teach or present our content in any form — publicly, privately, online, or in person — unless they have been formally accepted into our affiliate program and have received explicit written authorization from us to do so. This restriction applies regardless of whether you charge others for such instruction.

Unauthorized teaching of our material is a serious violation of these Terms and of our intellectual property rights, and will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of any refund, and may result in legal action.

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to videos, audio, text, graphics, course materials, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Discover Taiji LLC and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a personal viewing license only. No intellectual property rights are transferred to you under any circumstances.

If you believe your copyright has been infringed by content on the Platform, please contact us at info@heavenmanearth.com with a description of the allegedly infringing material and your contact information. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.

Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us freely and without obligation to you.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or its related systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Platform.
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or disruptive content through any feedback or community features.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any suspected violation, including terminating accounts and reporting conduct to law enforcement.

11. Termination & Access Removal

11.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 3.5. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund except as described in these Terms.

11.2 Access Removal at Our Discretion

As a private limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, we retain the absolute right to refuse, suspend, restrict, or permanently revoke service to any subscriber at any time, for any reason or no reason, at our sole and absolute discretion — provided such refusal is not based on a characteristic protected under applicable federal or Delaware state law.

This right requires no cause, no prior warning, and no explanation. Reasons we may exercise this right include, but are not limited to:

  • Violation of any provision of these Terms.
  • Conduct we determine to be harmful, abusive, or contrary to the interests of the Platform or its users.
  • Fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or payment disputes filed in bad faith.
  • Unauthorized sharing of content or account credentials.
  • Unauthorized teaching or use of our material.
  • Any other reason at our sole discretion.

11.3 Refunds Upon Access Removal

  • If your account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms: no refund will be issued.
  • If we remove your access at our sole discretion without a stated violation: we will issue a pro-rated refund for the unused days remaining in your current paid billing period.

We are not obligated to provide access to the Platform to any individual, and this right applies to all subscribers regardless of when they first subscribed. By continuing to use the Platform after notice of updated Terms, all subscribers agree to this provision.

11.4 Effect of Termination

Upon any termination or suspension, your license to access content immediately ceases and you must stop using the Platform. Sections relating to intellectual property, teaching rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components. Course content is provided for educational and personal development purposes only and does not constitute professional, medical, or fitness advice. You participate in any physical practice at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DISCOVER TAIJI LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING ANY PHYSICAL INJURY ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN ANY PRACTICE SHOWN OR DESCRIBED ON THE PLATFORM.

In no event shall our total liability to you for any claim exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet or telecommunications outages, third-party platform failures (including Stripe or hosting providers), cyberattacks, government actions, or any other event outside our reasonable control. In such circumstances our obligations are suspended for the duration of the event.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Discover Taiji LLC is a Delaware limited liability company and all matters relating to these Terms shall be interpreted under Delaware and applicable federal law.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at info@heavenmanearth.com and allow us 30 days to attempt to resolve the matter informally. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, both parties irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.

YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIM MUST BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

16. Current Version Governs

The version of these Terms currently published at discovertaiji.com is the operative and controlling version and applies to all use of the Platform from the moment of publication, regardless of when you first subscribed or created an account. No prior version of these Terms creates any ongoing rights or entitlements beyond what the current version provides.

Your continued access to or use of the Platform at any time constitutes your agreement to the then-current Terms. If you do not agree to the current Terms, your only remedy is to stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription.

Any situation, conduct, or dispute not addressed by a prior version of these Terms is governed by the current version. We may update these Terms at any time to address new circumstances, close gaps, or clarify our policies. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and/or emailing your registered address at least 14 days before changes take effect.

The most current version will always be available at discovertaiji.com. We recommend reviewing it periodically.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Discover Taiji LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior agreements on the same subject matter.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision at any time shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms.

The section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
